The Little Museum of Dublin presents George Bernard Shaw exhibition
We are delighted to announce the opening of our new exhibition, Judging Shaw. Exploring the life and legacy of George Bernard Shaw, this colourful show explains how a nobody captured the zeitgeist, and became one of the first private individuals to understand fully how to generate—and how to use—global fame.
Curated by Fintan O’Toole – and based on his brilliant new biography of Shaw – the exhibition contains a unique collection of artefacts, photographs and illustrations. It is a must-see tribute to the first man to win both a Nobel Prize and an Academy Award. Learn how Shaw bridges the Victorian era and the contemporary culture of celebrity, and why his carefully cultivated brand, ‘GBS’, still resonates to this day.
Presented in association with Luas Cross City, the Royal Irish Academy and the National Gallery of Ireland
This remarkable new exhibition is open every day from 9.30am. We have also programmed an exciting series of Shaw-related events to coincide with the exhibition. Please book early to avoid disappointment:
