The museum patrons include the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, the Matheson Foundation, the Ireland Funds, and Dublin City Council, which owns the building that houses the museum.
It was a grant of €40,000 from Fáilte Ireland and the provision of space within 15 St Stephen’s Green that enabled the museum to get off the ground, and the museum was opened by the then-Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Andrew Montague, in 2011.
We enjoy the support of other brilliant supporters in government as well as the worlds of business and philanthropy. We salute all of our sponsors.
Thank you for giving Dublin the museum it deserves.
